Modeling an airplane challenged my ability to manipulate a large amount of vertices, while maintaining clean and efficient Topology. All but the Turbine Engines of the plane were manipulated from a single 3D object. I used Illustrator to create a high-quality, simple set of images, which I later UV Mapped to the plane. Initially, I used only an HDRI for the environment, however the scene lacked depth and a proper sense of scale. I created a Procedural Cloud Texture within Blender and applied it to a Cube, which I then duplicated a few times and transformed to add some variety. The final composition of rendered frames, audio, and coloring was completed using Premiere Pro.
