A brief, animated shot I created for the closing scene of a video titled, "The Migration of Monarchs" from the "Kids Discover Online" Educational Web Series. I went for a relatively slow, dramatic approach, and the client loved the results!
The Butterfly Model, Rig and Animations were kept as simple as possible for the sake of time constraints, without sacrificing essential quality. The Final Scene/Composition was developed and rendered in Real-Time using Unreal Engine 5 and Quixel Megascans assets. The Butterfly Model, its textures, the Rig, its Animations, and the Environment/Scene were concepted and developed by me within a 10 day production period.
Final Composition with Color Grading rendered with UE5. I went for a relatively slow, dramatic approach, and the client loved the results!
